Up, up, and away in the mountains of Minglanilla is Chef’s Corner Bistro located at Gullas Heights. One afternoon, we just decided to drive up there to chill and see what’s up. I had no expectations because I really just wanted to step out of my cave and be somewhere new.
I was pleasantly surprised! Chef’s Corner Bistro serves a great variety of good food, coupled with a stunning view of the mountains, the city, and the sea. It’s a lovely quick stop to eat and enjoy a quiet time. Since then, we’ve been frequenting the place to grab a snack and chill.
It takes about 15-20 minutes from the main highway to get there and it’s not accessible via PUJs. Either bring a private ride, hail a taxi or a motorcycle – and you’re good to go. Or you can bike if you fancy an uphill ride.
Here’s a quick look at their menu. My go-to is always burger and either Mango or Avocado Shake. There are also rice meals and other available drinks. The prices? Very reasonable.
The place is searchable on Google Maps and quite easy to find. There’s no actual parking lot so you’ll have to park by the roadside.
Overall – a cool experience to be up there surrounded by mountains and beautiful greenery, great hang out place, and a nice breath of fresh air – quite literally and figuratively.
