I loved One Oasis – the location was peaceful, secure, and just chill. It really lived up to its oasis feel since it’s just within the city yet it felt private enough. I booked a condo unit for two nights just so I could have a change of scenery on my birthday which was last December 7.
I originally planned to book a beach resort in the south but I was a bit unsure of the reservation process. My husband would also be coming from his graveyard shift and I thought it would be exhausting for him to travel for 3 hours after shift without sleep. So I decided to just book an Airbnb somewhere in the city that wasn’t crowded and still had the feel of nature (in place of not having the beach).
The biggest reason I booked at One Oasis was the swimming pool. Reiko and I love swimming pools a lot. We’re water babies even though we don’t really know how to swim. 😉 Ever since I gave birth to Reiko, my birthday has always been the entire family’s birthday! What I want to do during my birthday should also be something that will make the family happy.
One Oasis had a huge swimming pool! It also has a kids’ playground. Although we were checked-in to an Airbnb unit, there was still a fee for using the pool. We paid Php 200 each for adults and Php 100 for Reiko (kids) but it’s already for whole day use. It was quite pricey I must say especially when you’re planning to stay and use the pool for more than one day. But I went for it since we don’t often have staycations anyway.
Thankfully, the unit I booked was just in front of the clubhouse where the pool was, so it was very convenient for us to go back and forth. I also loved the unit’s interior because it’s so me! There were two beds, a flat-screen TV, a mini-kitchen, books, and chic decors.
The room was fully airconditioned and it has its own balcony facing the pool. I was so glad that we never had issues at all (well, except for the WiFi that didn’t function while we were there which the owner informed us of ahead of time so it was all good).
The excellent lighting was such a plus for me because I scheduled a few sit-down videos for my YouTube channel that weekend and the output or video quality was great!
The unit was also powered by a smart door lock so we didn’t need to wait for the owner to give us the key. We just needed to key in a door password. I’d definitely book that unit again in the future if we’re ever in need of a home away from home again. ♥
Some more photos.
Overall, it was a weekend well-spent! Despite it being my 30th birthday, we never really had a big celebration. I think as I grew older over the years, I preferred quieter and more private celebrations with family only. I like it better that way.

One Oasis-
Customer Service5/5The guards and attendants are friendly and accommodating.
-
Cleanliness5/5The room we booked and the environment are both clean. The room also smells so good!
-
Location4/5We had to walk down the road to reach the nearest eatery so if you don't want to keep going out, make sure you bring your own food.
-
Amenities5/5In the room, all essentials are complete. We were able to cook. There was a water dispenser and fridge. There were books too, which I love.

Value for Money4/5Good value for money. Stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed it. The only downside was we had to pay for the pool per person per day. In most condos and Airbnbs, use of the pool is already free.
