Bayfront Hotel Weekend Staycation

Bayfront Hotel Cebu is hard to miss. If you live in Cebu and constantly or often around the SM City area, you will see it rather quickly as it’s just at the back of the building and near the pier. Since I always ride the SM MyBus from home to SM City, I always pass by Bayfront Hotel. People coming from Mactan Airport who opt to ride the MyBus to SM will easily spot Bayfront too. 

With its prime location in the city, Bayfront Hotel is an ideal retreat for just about any type of traveler. Whether you are traveling alone for business or leisure, with a small or big family, and even with your barkada or group of friends, there is a cozy room for you. In fact, I got to try the Bayfront experience with my two boys! 

Being a work-from-home mom, life sometimes gets sedentary so a change of scenery is better than staying at home all week especially since it’s been raining. We all just wanted to go out and go somewhere convenient. So, Bayfront Hotel it is. 

We had an overnight stay at a Superior Room courtesy of the hotel plus a breakfast buffet at their restaurant. The room was clean, in order, and had basically everything we need. We also had a view of the city, as well as the sea. It was great for watching the sunset! 

At around 8 PM, I had the chance to see some of the hotel’s amenities including the Suite Room, Barkada Room, and the two Function Rooms with the help of the hotel’s duty manager. Bayfront Hotel has been around for three years, and it certainly looks good as new. The interiors are also lovely! 

Bayfront Hotel Suite Room

I love the orange hues of this room. The furniture pieces are simple yet elegant, as with anything else in Bayfront Hotel. Aside from its own living room, it also has its own little kitchen and is the only room in the hotel with a bathtub. 

Bayfront Hotel Barkada Room 

These bunk beds are reminiscent of my childhood days when my brother and I used to share a bedroom back in my hometown. This is definitely a cool way to bond with your friends and even with your family. 

Bayfront Hotel Function Rooms

You can celebrate any special event in your life at Bayfront Hotel too. They have one of the best event packages in the city including the following:

• Food and Venue Package

They get booked pretty quickly because of their reasonable rates so you better inquire ahead of time. 😉 When I was checking out their function rooms, there was a birthday party in one room and a debut in the other room. 

Cafe Breeze

Cafe Breeze is the hotel’s restaurant and where we had our breakfast buffet. You can also book it for birthday celebrations or other events. 

Other things to note: There’s also a gym and spa/massage service in the hotel. There’s a 7-11 store right next to the building too, plus a BDO ATM. Don’t forget you have SM City right across so you’ll never run out of supplies if you need any. Taxis are also just nearby. 

My little family enjoyed our stay at Bayfront Hotel. Aside from its convenient location, we were very well-taken care of and the hotel staff was very prompt and proactive. It was a weekend well-spent.
