Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort

If you need a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort might just be your best bet. Whether you want a weekend staycation or you are traveling, this charming resort offers convenience, relaxation, and lots of leisurely activities. 

Our last photowalk brought us to the stunning resort of Maribago. The management was generous enough to take care of our lunch by the beach after a tiring but enjoyable morning of photowalk. We also got the chance to do a quick tour of their spa, outdoor swimming pools, and of course, the beach.

Here’s a glimpse of the Amuma Spa. This is perfect if you want to relax, unwind, and get the best of Filipino therapeutic healing traditions. It’s also rightfully situated in a quiet and serene area of the resort. 

Maribago has several outdoor swimming pools. Guests can enjoy swimming right outside their private suites or villas. 

I personally love the serenity of their private beach. ♥ For day swimming, I’d choose the beach any minute over a giant swimming pool. But when we talk about night swimming, I prefer the pool. 😊

We also got the opportunity to check out the resort’s man-made private island or sandbar across the beach. Something utterly interesting I should say. Guests get transported to the island in just a few minutes using that makeshift banca below that can fit about 30 people. 

Fun Fact: A few minutes after this photo ^ was taken, I sat down excitedly and forgot that my phone was in my back pocket, and then boom, it shattered. 😝 What a nice way to end my day at Maribago.

Maribago is a gorgeous place to stay during the weekend. It can even be your home away from home. If you have the budget, you can stay there as long as you want. You will surely be delighted with the high-end accommodation and amenities.
